I'm working to update the home cart price guide and I see, sadly, the chance there was to lower a lot of price was clearly missed.

We saw some members selling NGF carts here(some more honest that even asked feedbacks about it, some having played really poor and funny role) BUT the prices were in keeping with current market's quotations, not really managing to hit the market lowering the prices.
Some may say the carts are brand new but, regardless of that, there was maybe the chance to put them in the market at great prices, having the prices lowered that way.

A good numbers of title was sold but not really at competitive prices.
Even some new AES system was sold, but really for about the same high prices you are used to say for that kind of stuff.

As usual,if you have suggestions post here or email.
Should some rants arise from some members, they will be overlooked.

Sadly that Maruko is worth nothing for collectors and who is bidding on it is taking a bad step at $1000.

The spine looks TOTALLY sunfaded and so worthless for collectors.
Maruko juts ended at $!600 or so at yahoo japan and wouls sell for even more if NOT sunfaded.

Single sales should NOT affect the guide. If four or five Chibi's went for $1,000, then yes the guide should be altered accordingly.

The logic used to criticise recent sales of brand new English and Japanese carts is totally fucked up, because one or two cart sales should have no bearing on the guide, and only taken into consideration if the trend continued. As it is the sales of such carts will soon be exhausted rendering any effect on the guide negligible.

FTL is merely trying to deflect attention from himself for not being intouch with the real market forces and reducing, or perhaps raising, many carts accordingly.

Pathetic really.

I have a suggestion to make -

Get your sorry ass in the real world

You really don't have a clue... shame
Don't be so defensive.

No one expected you to play the part of Robin Hood.

...

As for Chibi Maruko, I would more quickly refer to the one that ended on Sunday on Yahoo japan at 1800 yen... That was a serious auction with some familiar faces.

Just compare the YELLOW of the NEO GEO logo with the bit of the spine you can spot form the picture.
The spine is white.
Some friends asked pictures of the game and they came as no surprise:totally white spine.
And the smart seller really have a reason NOT to show the spine.

See why your a total newbie about home cart Market.
As Charlei pointed out,Maruko always goes for $1500+ on yahoo japan and last one in collector's condition was sold for well more than $1500.
More,as for a RARE game as Chibi Maruko, even one piece can hold relevance for the guide.

I know more about the homecart market than you ever will in your entire lifetime. Just be glad your so buddy-buddy with Shawn, because you don't deserve the job of 'Price guide Jacker'

I'm well aware of what goes on Yahoo! Japan, and read my post again - I said it would take several copies of Chibi to go at $1,000 to LOWER the price... and it turns up on Yahoo! Japan about as many time as you make sense. Your English is about as good as my Italian; plus you ignorance is becoming legendary.

I say bring John back as price guide manger. You've done nothing but hyper price rises, stifle information on price drops on rare carts, and generally done more damage to the overall market than NGF ever did. Dion owns you for free.

I find funny your pathetic behaviour, your threats and less funny your cuss words.
More, your making business with NGF is even funnier and worth of a comedian.
First you deny, then get very angry over the issue and finally explode with threats and cuss words, when got caught.

As for the matter,YOU should read twice my post.
Even ONE sale of a game as rare as Chibi Maruko could hold relevance to grasp the trend of its price.
But your more than welcome to go back buying from NGF and selling carts and systems at very high prices, calling other price jackers.

stifle information on price drops on rare carts,
care to back up that accusation?

I'm curious where that happened.

So far, the scene has actually been polarizing such that the rare carts are rising in price while the common carts dropping.

Especially now that all the common carts just got more common thanks to the charitable efforts of NGF.

But with more carts available to more potential collectors, the rare carts will go up in demand. People will start to look for TSS, Ninja Masters, STB, the slugs - games which there is no hidden stash for in the NGF warehouse.

Wake up and smell what you're shovelling. I didn't get caught doing anything. What don't you just admit that all you do is pander to the collectors and couldn't give a flying fuck about the gamers.

Case in point - Quiz Chibi. Apart from those skilled enough to read Japanese, and the Japanese themselves this is a pure collectors cart. I can't play it. I've tried, I haven't got a clue what's going on. All you're interested in is keep rare carts artifically inflated becasue you know full well that most people refer back to your guide when valuing homecarts.

And talking of running.. who's getting my posts deleted? Talk about censorship! You're a disgrace to the scene, and my dealings with Dion and Chris are none of your fucking business. Apart from the fact I had the support of the majority of the members here for what I was doing, and you've got no idea what i'm selling the carts for, only indication you've got is what I post in the sales forum. So outside of that you're clueless as always.

What did I sell SSK3 The Next Glory new & sealed for last week?
You don't know. You're soooooo clever aren't you?

You can sit at your pc and think up as many unitentinally witty Engrish replies as you like trying to weasel your way out with your bs. FACT - everyone knows you have no desire to see prices fall for either homecart format and that is why you are a joke.

Again, your talking nonsense all the way.

Home carts like super sidekicks 3 do require more than one sale to hold relevance for the guide since they are not really rare home carts.

Gamers should go for jap home carts or,even better, loose mvs carts as said many times.

If you could read, you would see all the home carts prices are updated on regular basis and a lot of home carts collapsed in price.

You may support better your illations.

Duh... I don't need to provide evidence. The fact that you've posted not one single thread about carts falling in value, eBay flooded with dozens of so called rare/uncommon Jap games, emergence of more and more English and Euro carts as people get out, within the last quarter.

If you're not Shawn's buddy WHY are you still price guide analyst? Why do you only sing the praises of English cart releases, the fact that certain, potentially future lucrative English carts like RotD, are brought to promince - funny as Shawn called it the next Garou in terms of aftersale for the US version at time of release.
Why do you ignore the Jap market unless there's a $1,000+ cart involved?
Neo Geo would survive quite handsomely on Japanese releases alone - FACT
Why so negative toward rescued ex-NGF stock? Why, because you know they had dozens of uncommon carts Euro carts like Sam Sho 2 and Ghoist pilots, and you were bricking it over the sales having an impact on your dumbass guide.
Why are you Italian moderator? Shito would have been a far superior candidate.

Now you should listen well.

My what?

You're just showing both your ignorance and arrogance by trying to twist around what I've said.
You know perfectly full well what I'm getting at, so shut up.
