Hi everyone,

Just thought I'd introduce myself...hopefully I'll be able to do some good business deals with you guys in the future. Anyway, I am posting because I just bought a Japanese Neo Geo AES on Ebay yesterday. So far the only games I'm going to have are Samurai Spirits and KOF94 but that's okay....hopefully soon I'll be able to get Magician Lord!(My all time favorite Neo Geo game, so many fond memories of playing it in the arcade...).

StarPhoenix (uber-kool nickname) welcome to the forums. it will be quite the expensive hobby you'll find out so limit yourself to 1 - 2 cart purchase every month on low-end aes carts and 1 every six months on high-end carts. you'll get yourself submerged in debt quick if you are not careful.

...or you can do what chris1 and myself have done, buy a dedicated neo geo cabinet with 1-slot or at most 2-slot in there. nothing beats arcade. if space is an issue for you, build yourself a supergun, the recipe for it are all but disclosed already in the technical forums, schematics, electronics 101, links on where to purchase parts, etc., i am currently on a process of building a supergun and a customized dedicated cocktail cabinet for my soon to be acquisition, a hyper neo geo 64 motherboard. now, if i can just find samurai shodown 64 I and II.

Thanks everyone for welcoming me here. Now all I have to do is wait for my Neo to arrive....the anticipation is too great to handle!! Does anyone know if Rage of the Dragons is ever going to be restocked for the AES? If not, I'll have to buy an MVS system too! (More money gone, right?!!?)
