Hey, I'm new to these forums. I recently just got an MVS 4-slot machine, and the games that are on it aren't games I'm interested in playing. I'm planning to get some new carts for it, but I don't know what. I want to put in the best carts that I can find. I'm new to NeoGeo, so I'll be needing this information. I want my machine to have a game from each genre (fighting, shooter, action, puzzle, etc.), so basically this machine will have something for everyone (running an arcade, so that's what I'm shooting for). I'm very glad that I found these forums, the community looks great and I'm hoping I'll get help here. Thanks in advance.

This is my opinion on what you should get...
1) Metal Slug X
2) The Last Blade
3) Magical Drop 3
4) Baseball Stars 2
Other note worthy titles to consider are...
-Samurai Shodown 2
-Samurai Shodown 3
-Art of Fighting 3
-Blazing Star
-Neo Turfmasters
-Metal Slug 3
-Mark of the Wolves
-King of Fighters 1998 & 1999
But if I had a 4 slot, and I had to get 4 "top games" for the Neo, those would be my picks over anything.

The machine was used and it came with Art Of Fighting II, World Heroes II, Metal Slug II, and Baseball Stars. I was planning on getting Metal Slug 3 or X, MOTW or LB2, Money Exchange Idol or Magical Drop 3, and some other game here. What games do other people recommend?

Id suggest 3 since X and 2 are very similar.
Also you need to pick up a KOF. I would suggest '95, '97 or '98. You cant go wrong with either of them.

You gonna want a nice balance so i'd suggest
Metal Slug X or 3
KOF 2k2 or 98

So true!!!! I got bust-a-move 4 for my girl on the Dreamcast and she beat the game with every charecter like 4-5 times threw wink
She would play for hours at a time!
