There must have been some major bullshit for so many of these games to end up loose. I hate going through ebay for neo stuff and like 50 out of 60 items is just loose ngpc games.
Its gotta be a bitch to put a complete NGPC collection together now.

All I can say is wow..

I threw all my NGPC cases away a few years ago, a move I really regret now.

My rationale at the time was that since the NGPC is so portable, the cases were just in the way. I kept all my NGPC stuff together in a drawer I had.

Well probably 90% of game players in the world dont keep things like the boxes and manuals would be my guess.

Yeah, but a lot of those on ebay are supposed to be new. I thought it was kind of strange too. Maybe it's new old stock that never got cases/manuals made for it? Even the neostore has some loose, new NGPC games if I remember right. The cases/manuals were probably made in a different place than the games.

VERY GOOD POINT!
Galford said basically what I thought as well.
If the games are supposedly new, as those games do look new, its very possible that many releases got botched in some form.
NGPC must have suffered the most.

Cause you do not see loose HC's or CD's. Unless it was a case of bad care. Almost every damn NGPC game on ebay is loose.

Its more likely because the cases are seen as being worthless. So if stores/ warehouses had shelves of NGPC games rather than ship them all in there boxes they can ship 2/3 times as many games if they throw their boxes away. :)

It saves them on the cost of shipping basically.

A common practise (certainly in my experience).

Someone came up with a warehouse of loose carts half a year ago or so. Lik-Sang and Lan-Kwei (and probably others) were selling them at $5 each. Lots of people gobbled them up (I was a few hours too late and only got two crappy games...) and are now selling them for a small profit on Ebay and elsewhere.

Apparently it was some left over stock that never got completed manuals and covers when SNK ceased production. There were for some reason also a huge load of NGPCs in plain white boxes, possibly for the same reason.

Yeah, as I recall, Shawn actually got a lot of loose NGPC games after SNK folded a while back too. I think it was just a supply that was only part way through the production pipe and then got liquidated with the bankruptcy.
