Finally got Slug X (JP) home cart today

Went and picked up a Slug X Japanese for $400, brand spankin' new, never been played at all. glee glee glee buttrock :D

I've yet to power it up though...I've been having more fun staring at the case and insert since this morning. Japanese inserts own those fake US ones all day. :p wink j/k

And BTW, don’t be a sinner!!!, do not plug it in your system, you should buy a second copy just for playing purposes and preserve the virginity of this gem. :D

Over in New York City, J&L Games. Most people know that place as a ripoff, but this was their only reasonably priced game. I'm sure if they'd known that it would have been $600-$700.

No point in buying another copy right now. I'd love to, but I need other carts...perhaps I'll start hording Metal Slug X's like two other members here. eye eye

Over in New York City, J&L Games. Most people know that place as a ripoff, but this was their only reasonably priced game. I'm sure if they'd known that it would have been $600-$700.

well, they HAD the game. I just called the owner and the other copy they had sold this morning.

Believe me I was as shocked as you were to see Metal Slug X for $400. I saw it when I went last week, and today I decided to come back for it. I wasn't about to let it sit there and get snatched up by some other bastard. :)

Here's one for you though...

MOTW JP $650
LB2 JP $550
Fatal Fury Special JP $125
KOF 2000 JP $375

I would not recommend this place at all because everything in the store is a ripoff. Seeing MSX for that price must have been pure luck.

Yep, that was me. :)

I was waiting outside for a half hour before the place opened...some of those Chinese girls in Chinatown are hotties. That helped to pass time. glee

Dame Yuo, that was to be mine! I almost shat myself when I saw it there in January. I told rstreck and he almost bought it. Too bad I was broke at the time. A definite steal. Although the cart is new, is it sunfaded at all? I doubt it, as J&L crams all their neo stuff back in the corner. Great game, enjoy it. I'm prolly gonna pick up msx on mvs from mike at md gamesales pretty soon.

No sunfading to be found on this cart. :)

I had to get this, could not let anyone else get their grubby hands on a brand new Slug X. :D
