I sent an old style joystick, and 1 mvs game to germany once via airmail.... I think it was around 25 dollars.

It took like 7 days to arrive there from Seattle,WA.

You can look up the International Shipping Chart from the USPS website. I dont know the link right off hand. wink

Then either that parcel was quite big or heavy or both or you did something wrong or even all of this three. :D

Shipping to Germany for one AES cart by small packet airmail is 16$. If you want the package to be registered, it's 7$ extra. 30$ or so for EMS from Canada.

I always liked small packet airmail buttrock
They never failed me yet.

I always send my international sales via Global Priority Mail. This method (variable weight) has a weight limit of 4 pounds, so if you're sending only one cart its quite nice, but anything heavier would have to be air mailed.

GPM Weight Costs to Germany:

0.5 lb. $ 8.00
1.0 lb. $10.00
1.5 lbs. $12.00
2.0 lbs. $15.00
2.5 lbs. $18.00
3.0 lbs. $21.00
3.5 lbs. $23.00
4.0 lbs. $26.00

...there's my $.02

Parcel post rules man! EMS sometimes is just too expensive for nothing. Of course, for items over 300$, EMS might be a good idea, but anything under 300$, registered letter-mail is great, and anything under 100$, normal letter-mail (small packet airmail) is all you need.

You only have to be wary of countries like Mexico or Brazil or Russia where the post office people will steal stuff that might have the slightest value (they'll even steal a package just to get the stamps!). Countries in Europe, Japan, and Canada/USA, stuff isn't stolen in the mail.. ESPECIALLY with all of USPS's/CanadaPost's competition such as Purolator, DHL, FedEX, UPS, etc.

Thats pretty steep for a cart. Specially if its an older one! Then the delivery could be as much as the game loco
