Hot new Demo....Arc the Lad, Twilight of the Spirits

Since people who own Neo-Geo's probably also own other consoles (Like a PS2) and since this is a "General Discussions" Forum; Go find an Arc the Lad Twilight of the Spirits now. I played after scoring the demo and was I ever impressed. This game has the sweet old school anime look with lots of character depth (personality-wise and Great eye candy)

This game will definately rival Final Fantasy and some of the other good RPGs....

Get the demo if you can! :D

RPGs must be tough to play on the Neo Geo considering you can't save your progress...

That's nice. Why don't you take the demo CD and break it into tiny little shards. Then stick the shards into your eyeballs.

Personally I hated 7,8 and 10. I don't, IMO, think that it would take much to rival those "gems."

On the other hand, this is still in the wrong forum.

True, I hated those as well but with the way some flock to those games and they # of copies sold little Arc the Lad( who pretty much dropped off the face of the earth US PSX-wise after the release of the first one ) doesn't really stand a chance.

Actually, I really enjoyed the Arc the Lad Collection (only played 1 and 2, got burned out and haven't gone back for 3 yet), with the exception of the final battles on 2. Talk about ridiculous.

Breath of Fire is classic as well. Not sure about 5 as I haven't played it yet, but all the others were pretty damn good. Not my favorite, but not my least favorites either :D

Sony must have more faith in Arc this time around though, as they are releasing the game themselves. Hopefully they will infuse it with the same life Working Designs does their translations.
