okay the game itself has no storyline but how did ken become evil ken or mr. karate going to the dark side?

Mr. Karate was always on the dark side... Takuma going to the dark side = influence of the Tengu mask.

As for Ken, this is only speculation but the purple flames seem to indicate the influence of the Orochi power. A lot of loke test sites are reporting that Evil Ken is actually Orochi Ken.

so ken for some reason has orochi blood?

so the mask causes takuma to go bad? if thats the case why bother keeping it?
