A "What If.....Would You" ?

What if Playmore decided to make AES/NGH consoles themselves and replace their logo with SNK, would you still buy the system? Or Playmore's logo was on the side of a MVS machine instead of SNK?

This question is under the shaky presumption that they're different companies run by different people.

The fact is it's run by the same family and the only reason they don't use SNK in Japan is that their in a trademark battle with Aruze (the former owner) over it.

The question disregards the history of the past 3 years.

Of course, taking into account what I just mentioned, the situation would never arise -and if it did, I would be fine with it since it's the same company -a phoniex among businesses.

Yes, I still would buy MVS carts but it would be a really silly way to go for the company. Anyway, this won't happen since Playmore is talking about renaming the company as SNK, not the opposite...

Seeing as how I just sold my entire AES system and 28 games crying I guess this is moot for me now. But for the record:

I would not buy an MVS/AES system with the name PLAYMORE on it vs. seeing SNK. I say this due to the same reasons I refer to even Genesis games when they are in fact the Genesis versions as Mega Drive... and that is the fact that "Genesis" never had the impact or punch to it that MD did, thus it was also blasphemy. Thus buying a system called the Playmore Neo:Geo just doesn't sound right... it doesn't flow the same way SNK Neo:Geo does at all.

But that's just me.
