The pro stick uses microswitches just like the old style stick, so there is the same degree of clicking that you find annoying. Personally, I love microswitched controllers as they are the closest to coin-op controls.Cynn:
My CD pad just buggered out so I'm wondering how the Pro Stick is. I'm not too fond of the super clicky stock neo stick. Is the Pro stick any better?
EH! Old style sticks gets only noisy if you're a button masher !Freelancer:
and is less noisey when you press the ABCD buttons! Get one, they are well worth it!
I like the clicks they actually can help me do moves.I'm not too fond of the super clicky stock neo stick.
The clicks really through me off at first, but know I never notice them or I play smooth. When my bro plays with me I give him my beater old-style and man do I hear that clicking.Atrophyed:

I can now play them without making significant noise ( took a while tough ! ), and the buttons will thnak you for not mashing them ! tickled smirk
It's not the buttons I have a problem with. It's the stick it's self. I am used to perfect 360 joysticks and at very least the Happ competition sticks. To me the Neo stick feels kinda shoddy. Loose and VERY square. I tend to be pretty precise on the movement and the micros kinda trip me up. I'm not bashing the Neo stick, it's just not my style.EH! I have a MAS for my DC. VERY VERY nice sticks. Far better than X-arcade. I was kinda hoping the pro stick was not clicky since the MAS cost a lot and I'd really rather have the neo 4 button face and all they offer is six. I had them build my DC stick from a Super Nova stick case since I didn't want all the clutter of useless conversion buttons. (got this stick for SF3 at home)Could always get a MAS systems stick, now those a slick sticks. Too bad there $100+ though.
