I'm hooked! Hooked on Neo's. Yes, i'm a new neo geo nut. Just joined up and wanted to say HELLO! You all seem like a freindly lot. I've just started collecting home stuff a couple of months ago and i can't stop buying carts. My goal is to get all the carts but i can see a few things in my way like bank balance and erm... bank balance! I can see the house getting re-morgaged now for sure.
Anyway, thanks for reading and forgive any mistakes i make in future posts as i have a lot to learn.

New collectors are always welcome here. Most of us are collectors as well. I'm a pretty new member myself, and this place has been great so far.

IMO we're player before been collector - but yes I considering my self as a collector since I'm in NEO.

I just started collecting a few months back too. But have loved Neo since 1990 as with many of the people here. It must have been march when I got my Neo and since then I have gotten:

Samurai Spirits
Samurai Spirits 2
Art of Fighting

Crossed Swords
Super 2020 Baseball
Baseball Stars 2
Karnov's Revenge
World Heros
And the list will only continue to grow. I'm trying to get all of my old time favorites. (With exception of Rage of the Dragons in a few months)

I also have KOF 2000 and Fatal Fury Special here. But they are a friends who also is a member of the board.

I think this site is pretty heavy on the collecting, as opposed to other sites. Nothing wrong with that at all though. I'm definitely a gamer, but also definitely a collector. In the homecart hobby I think you almost have to be a collector as well or else you'd be into the cheaper MVS carts. Just my opinion :) .

I've been collecting AES for almost a year and I only have 6 games! As you can imagine I don't have many money to spend on my Neo... :rolleyes:

Dont think that collecting rare games is easy and cheap. But it can be fun to searh hard and do your best

Welcome to the fourms! I dont post often, but have been with the neo since '98. It is a great time, and hope you have fun. Just be prepared to spend lots and lots of money <img src="graemlins/glee.gif" border="0" alt="[Glee]" />

When speaking about the Neo is always funny to see how common carts are rare and rare carts are commons! I worked hard to find a stupid copy of Nam-75 (while I'm still looking for a Baseball 1) but I managed to get WW7, BTG, U11, etc. very easy...

It's just a matter of money ya know... :(
