How much do you think this would be worth?

I'm considering selling my Neo stuff in a bundle (no breaking up the package! )
so I can replace it with an arcade cab (see my medieval side-scrollers thread in the Unrelated Forum). I'd appreciate an estimate on how much you think this is ALL worth. By the way, this would be all the Neo stuff I have--everything must go. (I know this might be considered a topic for the Selling Forum, but I'd like to have a ballpark figure consensus to work with before actually selling).

Here goes. The package would consist of (everything US and in very good to mint condition and COMPLETE, btw):

A Neo-Geo Gold AES system, complete with box, styrofoam, system, 2 old-style joysticks, instructions, RF cable, A/V cable, and power cable.

A black, bare-bones Metal Slug converted AES cart w/bare-bones old-style case.

Fatal Fury 3
Real Bout Fatal Fury
Real Bout Fatal Fury Special
King of Fighters '98
Samurai Shodown
Samurai Shodown 2
Samurai Shodown 3
Samurai Shodown 4
Garou: Mark of the Wolves
Last Blade 2
Art of Fighting 3

Honest answers please.

I'll buy it all from you for $5. How does that sound?

Sounds fine, so long as you add about three zeroes after the $5

Anyone else have any estimates/offers?

well, I would say about $2800 to $2850 MAX!
you may want to take A bit off though since you are selling it as a packege.

It's US... sorry i didnt read it all...
Anyway you have a very good collection.
I think you should get around $2200-$2600 for the lot.

Anyone selling AoF3 JPN?
I'd trade it with my mint AoF3 US

I know what you said-but i still recommed splitting it up-at least AOF 3,LAST BLADE2 and GAROU...I just payed $585 for the last one alone....
...and i have seen going it for higher...

The rest would still make an awesome package for $1500.

I'd say $3000 for all together...Max...but who can afford them ALL?

Heed, I see you wanna play a little hardball. I'm cool with that. I throw in one 0 after that 5 and give you 99 cents more on top of that.

Seriously, I know damn well you can make at the very least $1500 for that collection. And it's a good one at that. Why else would I try to bargain with ya?

When you sell stuff as a 'big package', like this one, you have to come down to compromises... lower the price to sell all the stuff... $2500 seems fair to me...

I'm going to break the package up. It will be $1500 for everything but LB2, AoF3, and Garou. Does that sound better?

All the price estimates here are too high. As a bundle of course you will get a lot less than you would breaking it up. Bundled, I'd price it all at $1750 max, maybe less. Broken up is another matter entirely.

The key is pricing everything at just the right level where people will buy it quickly. If you price too high, you'll just sit on all that stuff for a long time.

And $1500 for the package minus LB2, MOTW, and AOF3 is much too high. It'll never move for that . . .

How do you get $1750 for the entire bundle? A US Garou and Last Blade 2 are worth roughly $1000 combined. Surely you don't think AoF3, all 4 Samurai Shodowns, FF3, RBFF, RBS, a converted Metal Slug, and a system with *everything* included is worth $750...

$1750 is definitely too low

I'd value
LB2 US for $300+
MoTW US $540+
AoF3 US $350+
Samurai4 US $280+
RBFFS US $190+
RBFF US $150+
...... that's approx $1750

Plus other else: $2200-$2600

MOTW and LB2 are NOT worth $1000 combined, separately they are worth about $750 or so total. My point is that you cannot simply take best case values for each piece, add them all up, and get a package total. Selling THAT much stuff in a package will AUTOMATICALLY reduce your target market DRASTICALLY, because ALMOST NO ONE will drop that kind of money in one fell swoop. So when you bundle, you can expect to get less.

Also, it may or may not have an impact, but MOTW is now available on DC import, and will soon come out as DC U.S. version. The $500+ prices for MOTW may be a thing of the past, only time will tell on that one (after all MOTW just came out very recently in Japan and hasn't even hit the U.S. console yet). I hear the DC port was an excellent one.

As I said, sold separately these things would bring you a lot more than bundled, thats just a simple reality. If you get $2200 for that stuff as a bundle, I'll be surprised . . .

Someone that vowwed to himself he'd one day own a Neo-Geo when it came out, presumablly when income was more than a $5/week allowance.

I'm just sorry it took the death of SNK to make me remember and follow up on acquiring one.
