Samurai Shodown IV thoughts and questions?

This came last week with my new MVS cabinet.

I'm completely addicted to this amazing playing game.

The gameplay is just so fast and fluid.
Really cool stuff.

A couple questions. On my english MVS board, the intro is all in Japanese. Also, the chracter's pre-fight speech is Japanese, but I get English quotes at the end of the fight. Is this what I am to expect as far as English support on MVS games?

I thought I'd be able to read the intro in English. I'm not suprised the voices remain Japanese though.

you're cart is ok. That is what I remember when it was released long long ago, in an arcade on my campus. That, and the fact the game was fun as hell.

I have the Jap & US mvs carts and they play extactly the same on my 6-slot. The intro is like 99% jap and the speech is mainly in japanese. Gotta love the cus words & the blood. Part 4 is awesome, but Part 2 is the best one true to the original.

Was it possible to do the specails from Samurai Spirits 3 in SS4? I know you had the power meter with the speed bash, or the all-at-once bash, but I don't remember if you could do the actual specials from previous games when the power meter was full. Galford has some nice looking specials in SS3...
