Hello! Just about all of the carts I get for MVS these days come with terrible labels. Some scratched, some scored down the middle, some of them with those common photocopies etc, etc. Someone suggested that I get some custom ones from NGF, but instead I made my own. They look nice and are a major improvement, but the question remains... Do you people think it is wrong to replace original SNK labels? I think on home carts it is wrong, and maybe on new MVS titles...

It's your stuff, so why the hell not, you know?

Besides, loose MVS games aren't really collectables, and as long as you inform people you sell the carts to (if you do) that you made your own labels, I can't see anybody really having a problem with it.

Prefer to keep the originals if they are in good shape...bt if they are fake already or torn to hell, why not replace em...it isn't hurting the value.

Yeah, if it has an original label, unless it is really gross, I usually leave it alone. But those bad paper labels... I replace those immediately with very real looking ones.

Well I taped the laminated mini marquee thingy to the front of my Metal Slug MVS cart so that it looks like a normal cart. It looks nice and the tape could easily be removed. Now all I need is a Metal Slug 1 insert and a case that will fit it and I can place it on my shelf with pride instead of having this black ugly cart lieing around loose.
