I was looking to buy a super gun, is <a href="http://www.arcadeheaven.co.uk/supergun.html" target="_blank">this</a> a good super gun to buy?
Or could anyone suggest a better one for me to get?
Thanks <img src="graemlins/mrt2.gif" border="0" alt="[Mr T]" />

You had better talk to Chimpmeister. He is an avid supporter of the sigma system and swears it has the best picture output. You can see the system here:

<a href="http://www.neogeousa.com/" target="_blank">http://www.neogeousa.com/</a>

and here:

<a href="http://www1.ocn.ne.jp/~kaiten/sigma.htm" target="_blank">http://www1.ocn.ne.jp/~kaiten/sigma.htm</a>

Good luck on your buy. :)

Have you noticed that the connector on the AV6000 is NOT Jamma? It's a 2X22 pin connector (keyed on the 4th pin).

How strange...

Can you adjust the RGB output levels on that?

What kind of Joypad do you get with that, and does it work well with Neo-Geo games?

No doubt it's RGB, but... can you adjust the RGB output levels in order to finetune the picture as you like on that supergun? Does it have three separate knobs (R/G/B) for that purpose?

I just got a Sigma AV7000, and man is it a nice unit! Very clear picture (especially the s-video), easy to use, and compact. I highly recommend one! The stick is excellect as well!!

Hehe, custom one here too...

Although I've enhanced the sticks since then the baby plays everything just fine. Almost any Supergun you get will output a good picture for you, especially through S-Video. So personally I don't think the Sigma is worth the price of admission!

I like your design Hendrix . What RGB to video conversion method did you use ?

I used the JROK V3.0 RGB to NTSC converter
Works GREAT .

Nope but at the same time and this is no word of a lie i have had the neo geo cd a cabinet and a aes system in my time and the picture is more clearer and less pixel like that them all, its virtually crystal clear and full screen too.

i remember when i use to have the cabinet playing fatal fury 2 and the chars are made up of pixel dots that you can see clearly, not on this you cant and the brightness and colours are exuberant.
