Why is korean SSIV surfacing now?

My question is why all these SSIV carts are becoming an issue now (2001) 5 years after the first print in 1996?

Where were these carts last year, or the year before?

I hate the korean SSIV... They should all be demolished or corrected if possible.

God, that sounds like something NGF would say. "Send us your carts to be corrected". They are legit and should be treated as such.

1) People dont' know there is a "Korean" version

2) People keep their mouths shut

3) People don't pay attention to "Made in Korea" on the back of the cart

4) People are stupid. They pay high price for Korean version with no intro/voice and then sell to others for higher price until someone speaks up

I guess I do sound a little elitist, but I bought a SS4 thinking it was the real deal, and when I popped it my system and ran it, I felt cheated. No voices, no blood, no japanese... ridiculous. I was cheated. If I had know it was korean I wouldn't have bought it at all.

I would like it corrected - I would like to swap the chips. I wish this was possible. It's kid of sick - like the split personality of Amakusa in that game... oh when will this shitty SSIV be whole again?

To me, it would seem that people in general just don't know it. I even decided to check mine out and it is made in Japan which I am lucky but I would have never bothered to look if someone didn't bring ti to my attention. That may be the same problem with others that are now just discovering this.

The Korean versions are legit from what I hear, SNK marketed the neo in Korea for a time, but it failed to catch on.

SSIV was my first and last US game. I'm never going back. Let my collection just be japanese from here on out.
