and so they have time until the end of december to release a "new" kof

who cares if the homecart wont come out until mid 2004

they must release kof 2003 in the arcades before the end of the year,thats the rule

the bc mode will be gone for sure

all the old faces from 98 will be gone - again -

and i ABSOLUTELY CANNOT WAIT

to see saisyu,chizuru,the sports team,bao,lin,shingo and king

the big question at this point is:

will 4 months be enough for playmore to create new stances for all those characters?

are you as excited as i am?

My theory:

GAROU:MARK OF THE WOLVES is taking place in 2006
KOF' is based on trilogies
In GAROU:MOTW it's seems that KOF's are ended.
If PLAYMORE want to do another new trilogie, they must do the 2003-2004-2005, or this will not be a trilogie.

I want to see a World Heroes Team that includes Raiden! We'll probably here nothing about KOF 2003 if (gulp) at all until after the release of SvsC. Of course we could get some tidbit at E3 as that show generally has companies naming their lineup for the next year or so.

Exited? Anytime there is talk of a new Neo Geo game I get happy feet!

and i do not remember much about the second south-town

thing is,snk always fucked up with those things

just think about geese and the whole aof storyline

takuma should be about 80 in kof 2002

should be about bao,kensou and the dragon spirit,diana,that nests lady & lin and his master

the whole nests saga was stupid and boring

i truly hope they will come up with something better this time

honestly,
that is kind of hard to believe

when you consider bao's the main focus of the story now

the only year kof deviated from the traditional release schedule (info, screens, beta etc) was 2001 which was of course due to playmore taking the reigns...

my point is (educated guess follows) KOF 03 not happening, svc instead... KOF takes a well needed break. frankly i think another pieced together kof would kill it so use the year wisely playmore!

new hardware = fine by me... itll be a long time till i get my aes collection done anyway...

it would have to be a current system though id image.... i dont think playmore can really afford to develop new hardware..

if it stays on the old hardware im happy too, 2d fighters arent really about having the best graphics... lets leave that up to the 3d stuff

not my fault if kof 96 and 99 are so good and playmore cant even colour those sprites properly

GGXX is good it's not just about the high resolution, actually the resolution has nothing to do with it it looks better because it takes advantage of more powerful hardware.

I don't play the guilty gear games because it looks good. But because I like the way it plays the physic, speed etc.
Faultless Defense, Faultless Defense Cancel, Roman Cancel, False Roman Cancel, Move Feints.
They work! And it makes for exciting gameplay.

I'm not saying all 2d fighters should be like that but I'm not so biased in my love for the neo that I ca't appreciate other games.

I like the 2D look of KOF sprites. Thats my nostalgic life support.
Truth is, high res 2d (ala CVS) feels commercial or some shit to me, nothing against those who dig it, but I just cant stand it.

Now I am going against my own grain, anyone seen how deformed yashiro's head looked in 2k2? How about shermie standing c? couldnt take any longer to come out and thats a shame.

I was really unhappy with the NFT team in 2k2. No joke, chris aside.
I dont like the fact the only decent part of Iori in the newer KOF's (2k1) was ruined in 2k2.
I dont like how characters like Bao stay, and originals like Krauser, Geese, Big, Eiji (hi F) dont appear. Its the obvious shame of pure laziness.

I want Billy's mod look back from KOF 95, loved those jeans and shit, looked fucking awesome.

Havent played Matrimelee, will reserve opinions till then.
Can't say im looking forward to it, DREAM MATCH NEVER ENDS.
