So how many of you have had your NEO modded with S-Video? On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate the improvement in video quality over the standard hookup?

I would say a 9.

It's soooo much better. The colors wash a lot less and the detail is much greater. If you have a really sharp TV (like my Wega), it can almost look TOO sharp. However, a simple adjustment on the sharpness setting on the tv fixes that.

For a tech junkie like me, S-Video on the Neo is a must.

Well, if the composit signal is a 7 on my neo, the S video is a 8.9. Big improvement.

Great! I'm sold. I have a Sony Wega too, so I guess I gotta get it done now.

S-video is good compared to composite, but I'm only fine with RGB quality.

S-video compared to composite is like night and day. You can see soooooo many little details that composite usually bleeds out of sight.
