Ditto on that, but IMO:

SS1-4
SS2-5 and thensome
SS3-4
FF1-2
FF2-3
FFS-4
AF1-1
AF2-3.5 (can be frustrating)

Thing about all these games you have asked about they have the old-school fighter mentality. Stratgey, low hit combos, timing, countering, very different from some of today's combo-fest games, but I like those too. You really should look into the old-school KOFs, either 94 or 95 and you should be able to get either of them b/w $45-$70. Those games are classics.

I can't really give you an estimate based on a 1-5 scale, (I fv(king hate scales to begin with angry ) but I can give you opinions...

All three of the Samurai Shodowns hold up good, especially part 2. You'll probably get the most bang for your buck out of this one. But then, part 3 has an art direction, look, and feel totally unique and cool.

All three of the Fatal Furies you listed show their age to one extent or the other. Truth be told, unless you're just intent on having all of them you listed, you'd be best off sticking to Special, as it's got the most.

Art of Fighting 1 still looks and plays good in my eyes, but I'm biased as all hell anyway. :p Truthfully, these show their age too, and IMO part 2 played like shit even when it was new. Unless you've got a real appreciation for old-school 2D fighters, you may want to save your money on these. That's not to talk down about them, but if you've got a limited amount of money you're willing to spend, you can get more out of the SS's and the FF's (well, 2 and Special anyway).
