Sounds reasonable to me if that includes handling as well.

A Neo game to Japan from the US costs around $40-$50.

If he is using Airmail, which I suspect he is, it is a little high but not too bad. Airmail from UK for an MVS cartridge usually costs about $15.

I am not sure why but US auctions do seem to charge far too much to post things to the UK? $25 does sound a bit steep, if in doubt ask the sller before the auction ends, that way everyone is happy. buttrock

I am a Mail Carrier for the United States Postal Service. The postal service determines the price of what items cost to ship. These prices are fair considering that they also include any return shipping charges. In most cases if a package doesn't reach it's destination or the address is incorrect the return postage fee is covered in the additional charge. If you move from the current location and the item has to be forwarded to your new address then you will have it forwarded to you with no additional charges (if first class postage or higher was purchased). $20 -$25 is about the right price. Remember your item has to be packed also so just like any other delivery service, these fees are added to the total price.

Last airmail shipping price US - Europe I paid was $15 (one AES cart) which is absolutely correct. You can check yourself at www.usps.com

Someone offered me once EMS shipping for 2 AES carts for $70 ... lol

I've mailed several games to Europe using Global Priority flat rate large cardboard envelopes. It just fits in there after bubble wrapping the cart. It only costs $9 and usually arrives between 4 - 6 days. However, you can't add insurance with this option. Still, I've never had any problems with it.

Surely an AES cart and MVS cart weigh roughly the same? So the postage should be around $15 not $25? mr_t

If you're buying from the States it's normally more economical to buy in bulk. I've just had 2 MVS kits sent over and it cost $20 USPS & took about 5 days for the package to arrive.

It's also worth asking the seller to mark the items as a gift, or you'll get stung for customs charges.
