I am a Mail Carrier for the United States Postal Service. The postal service determines the price of what items cost to ship. These prices are fair considering that they also include any return shipping charges. In most cases if a package doesn't reach it's destination or the address is incorrect the return postage fee is covered in the additional charge. If you move from the current location and the item has to be forwarded to your new address then you will have it forwarded to you with no additional charges (if first class postage or higher was purchased). $20 -$25 is about the right price. Remember your item has to be packed also so just like any other delivery service, these fees are added to the total price.Typhoon Thompson:
I am not sure why but US auctions do seem to charge far too much to post things to the UK? $25 does sound a bit steep, if in doubt ask the sller before the auction ends, that way everyone is happy. buttrock
Surely an AES cart and MVS cart weigh roughly the same? So the postage should be around $15 not $25? mr_tRetaliator:
Last airmail shipping price US - Europe I paid was $15 (one AES cart) which is absolutely correct. You can check yourself at www.usps.com
Someone offered me once EMS shipping for 2 AES carts for $70 ... lol
