I'm about to break the bank and grab this game. I want to get a couple questions answered though.

1: I get US carts but my system is Japanese. Is this game like ROTD where you can select english in the options?

2: I know you can fight ROTD characters in this, but can you actually play as them?

Yes. And the music problem only applies to people who have English systems and can't change the region.

The 4 that are in the game, yes, code to unlock is u,u,u,u,d,d,d,l,l,r from character select.
