You'll laugh a lot. Overall the commentary seems... empty. You have the feeling that they wrote the review WITHOUT playing the game.
And they only repeat the same thing every time.
"good graphics, good sound..." All the games look are the BEST game for them.
And there are also the errors... Here I include some of them for your personal enjoying:

KOF2000:
-Tendou from KOF99? He's from Buriki One
-Sue is from Kabuki Klash?
-They sais it's better than Soul Calibur!!!!!
-They say it's impossible to finish it within 2 hours (It seems they didn't play it before writing...)

MS3:
-Where are the time machines they talk about?
-Again they didn't play it when they wrote the article.
-They say that the jet-pack is for dash (like the dash ability of MegamanX) but it will run oun of fuel quickly (I thought it had infinite fuel )
-The space-jet-pack works to explore hidden rooms (My god... they're drunken)

GAROU:
-The old characters are Terry and... KIM KAPHWAN???
-The fighter's techniques are different from all characters... well, every fighter fighting game have different moves for their fighters
-Big characters? I don't think so...
-They say that JESSE (Geese lol) died in this game... he died in RB1

Strikers 1945 PLUS
-They say that the pilot is real... well... who's the pilot?
-"Because you can use real planes you will feel the *REAL* experience of WW2" Oh, dear...
-It have 20 stages????
-They said that it doesn't suffer or slowdown... HAHAHA
-They said "it's a great shoot'em up" more than 7 times (using different words. The review is 20 lines long... so do the math)

KOF99:
-They said there are the same characters of KOF98 and some new???
-They use four paragraphs to say "Great graphics, great sound, great playability, great characters"
-They repeat the number of fighters and levels about 5 times.
-A lines after they say that there are thounsands os sounds, LEVELS and songs
-They do not mention the Armor and Counter modes!!!!! (But they said that gameplay is similar to the one in kof98 lol)

REAL BOUT 2:
-They said that SNK used the "GigaPower Chip". I thought that the GigaPower screen was just a way to get rid of the old 330meg spec. I fact they say that Neo cartdriges only use 1 chip lol .
-They said than RB2 sprites are smaller than RBS ones. They need new glasses
-The soundtrack is different?? They are also are deaf!

SHOCK TROOPERS 2
-They said it's a LONG game (What??)
-They said there are more weapons than in part 1 lol
-The review is like saying "It's a good game" but using 50+ lines. Funny if you can read spanish

It slows down like crazy on an emulator, but it plays fine through the real hardware. I wonder if it is the dump that does that, maybe you were playing a bad bootleg from the roms... I have a real kit, bought it a while ago, and it is my friends favorite Neo shooter, so we play it alot... yeah hardly any slow down on it.

Hey, I love Shock Troopers as much as you do (the first one, not the second), but Metal Slug 3 is a MASTERPIECE. The Gamefan magazine review of that game, written by ECM, was right on the money . . . perfect 10s across the board. Now I also happen to think MS1 and MSX are fantastic games as well, but MS3 is just so polished and masterful, packed with great music, killer animation, beautiful sprites, fantastic backgrounds, it just oozes quality . . . its a one-of-a-kind, a game that only comes around once in a rare while. To read Kyo 2000's trite, banal crap about the game is an insult to true Neo fans everywhere, and more evidence that he doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground when it comes to Neo Geo stuff . . . <img src="graemlins/ohno.gif" border="0" alt="[Oh No]" />

A masterpiece? Hardly. The first time I played through the game, I had to keep shoveling tokens in to get through the annoying cheap-ass bosses. I consider myself "decent" at the other Metal Slug games (part 1 on one life, 2 on one credit, X ALMOST done on one credit...), but 3 is just too cheap. Sure the last level has its charms in the fact that it just keeps going and going, but I just wanted the damn game to be over with. <img src="graemlins/annoyed.gif" border="0" alt="[Annoyed]" />

I wasn't having any fun whatsoever, because the game is just the same shit as the other games... just worse. Like getting turned into a zombie on Stage 2, ooh yeah that's so cool they're a zombie, their bomb is a blood spray, wow that's so cool, etc etc. Never mind that it slows the walking speed of the character down to about .5 MPH, and you're basically just a sitting duck when some of those enemies start kamikaze attacking you... and thus begins the 5-second death sequence. Wow, that's so fun. <img src="graemlins/shame.gif" border="0" alt="[Shame]" />

I pretty much had to force myself to play it again, maybe trying other routes would make me appreciate the game more. Nope. Playing through the game felt like an absolute chore. I think the appeal of Metal Slug 3 is for those who just like to put on infinite credits and blast through the game mindlessly. That's not my thing. I attempted to do some one-credit play, but I wasn't really finding much motivation. The game just plain isn't fun to me.
