I couldn't have said it better myself, I am a NEOGEO fan. I don't give a #$*! about SNK. Never have, never will.
I laugh when I see people say "SNK forever" or other junk about SNK. Do these "SNK fans" know what they are saying? If they like SNK, then they should be buying and collecting ALL SNK games. Not just NeoGeo games. And if they buy NeoGeo games, then they should buy only SNK games and NOT buy the good games that are all from third party companies, like Metal Slug, Turfmasters, AeroFighters, Magical Drops, Pulstar, Blazing Star, Strikers, PI2, Ganryu, TSS, SDB, etc and so on.

Most of my favorite NeoGeo games are not from SNK. I have been saying this line for the past 4 years. To me it's all about the NeoGeo, not SNK.

I'm a NeoGeo fan. I collect games for the NeoGeo. I collect items that are NeoGeo related.
I do NOT collect items that are SNK related.

The now defunct SNK screwed themselves, which should be pretty obvious. I dont see this as having too much of an impact on people's desire to own or not own Neo Geo items. Its a long sad tale of how SNK was destroyed from whithin that will be told by NGF in an upcoming full length book to be published in 2003.
Without a scripture of history future fans may never know the entire story, so I'm glad we inked the deal for the book.

I think Dion is bitter. Bitter and stupid. And hillariously stupid at that. Correct me if I am wrong but if SNK made the neo geo, then does that not make you an SNK fan by default? His comments seem driven by the fact that he was probably spurned my some one over at SNK. Japanese business men hate unprofessional come ons. I would not be surprised.

If NGF really want to sell a lot of copies of the book, they should have Devil_GUI make the cover...and all of the pictures inside.

They should call the book, 'Crump; The Sexual Misadventures of Dion, Chris and the Search for Love. Gay Love'

It's so funny what these two do and say sometimes, it even makes you question the people who quote and support them.

Well the book will probable come to light. But it will be the World of Neo geo according to NGF. In this fantasy filled world

KOF 2000 english is legement with the NGF URL
NGF are the official Distrubutors for SNK
NGF told SNK what games to release.
NGF carts are more vaulable
Dion and Chris were the Pioneers of the Neo geo world.

etc. etc. etc.

so it will strickly be a satire, Propeganda Novel. And yet another NGF item I am proud to say I do Not own <IMG SRC="smilies/wink.gif" border="0">

Anyway who cares anymore what they say on thier fan site. Let them live the dream in their little world of NGF. I would rather not read about it here anymore.

Books don't impress me. There have been vanity presses for years and years and years that will publish anything if you pay them enough to do so. It's quite different from a book deal.

It's pretty damn obvious that the duo has cash. I need something a little more substantial than that folks.

Yes, anyone can publish a book, their are book houses that will do minimum runs of stuff for a flat rate.

Just like anyone can make a CD, my freinds band made a CD and paid a flat rate for 500 copies to get made from this CD house.

It's not like a real publisher would ever release a NGF book.

Who reads books anyways. I don't know many people who do, and most people who buy books don't even read the whole thing. I bet that the book is being "vanity published" where Chris and Dion are paying the $2~4,000 to print the book and get it distributed (many places will do this). But I figure D&C aren't getting it distributed - they'll just sell it themselves from their site.

And these guys are distributung Neo-Geo games why? I never bought anything from Neo-Geo Freak, and now, thanks to these comments, I'll never trust anyone named Dion Dakis or Chris Ray ever again. If these guys hate SNK, then they should not affiliate themselves with anything SNK related (Neo Geo anyone?).
