Seriously tho,
It's a good piece. I finally had a chance to really sit down and delve into the game and I wanted to add my own personal thoughts.
I don't feel like writing another review because as Rade pointed out I did a good enough job the 1st time. <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">
Where to begin,
Control is spot on and is pretty much intact. I spent the latter half of an hour & a half testing various combos, traps & 100% to walk away happy.
Running down into the options menu I have no idea WTF Risk is so if anyone would care to give me a DETAILED explanation as to what this monkey crap does, feel free to share your knowledge.
It's nice that you can THANKFULLY switch between AST and OST music wise. The only thing whihc chaffs my ass is once again they did not inculded a Language Selection option.
They did this BS for Last Blade 2 and now on Mark of the Wolves. It just was a hope they would allow for this seeing as the KoF games on DC have the options to choose your own languages.
It's nice to see the characters in High-res but I have issuse also about the screen size. Why does it look like the left anf right sides are a bit 'cut' per say and not filling out the entire screen?
It gave me that feeling of a plastered on picture which of course took me a few minutes to get used to.
Now my only real main beef is the AST. No offense to anyone who liked it but as someone said on these forums before..'GOT DAYAM'!!!
What the hell happened here?!?!?!
So far I was being impressed and this music comes up that while ok for some parts felt like it was written on a MIDI player. I'm serioies here. I've heard of enough Midi music to realize that they could have done much MUCh better than this.
A perfect example of a good AST would be KoF 98, 99 & 2K. Nice compsoing, good originally and still able to stick to the original peice it's representing. This part just left rushed imho.
Overall Garou rocks and it's nice price considering the home cart is too still fucking bullshit expensive so if you're going to need a Garou Fix, I would suggest this. <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">
Once again tho Rade excellent review on Garou DC and for the most part people shoudl be happy with it.
