SNK Quiz Games....any good

Are the SNK quiz games worth the money other than if you are a collector?? I mean if you can understand Japanese, is the game good?

yes, yes, yes.. they are all great... even if you can't understand them! I love Quiz Detective 1 and 2 (2 is better though), Quiz Chibi is great, and Quiz KOF is actually quite cool despite the lame looking intro... they are worth picking up if you are a collector, real oddities that are a blast to go through, even if you don't get everything that is happening.

I've been thinking about these quiz games and have never really played one. Can anyone tell me if you get the Jpn version whether they have an option to put it into English. I figured since it's a quiz game and not like a fighting game then you really need to understand what is going on.

Take the quiz games for example, it is like a digital comic book... You don't get the whole story but you can follow along enough to get the jist of what is going on. Also, with 2p in on these games you get two shots to answer the question... making it easier to play. Yeah basicly it is multiple guess through the game, but they are still a lot of fun. Quiz Chibi is the killer... man that game just looks and plays so good. It is a shame it is so rare, the mini-games alone make it worth it. I spent a whole year tracking down Chibi... and I actually found a complete kit of it with all artwork... man, it was worth it! Fran are you looking for chibi on home cart or MVS?
