Well I bidded on a neo the other day for $60 bucks, the next day a guy bidded on it and raised it up to $70 bucks so when I saw this I raised it up to $80 bucks. Thats not what I plan on winning with b/c somebody can easily out bid this. So today Im still winning, But for how long? So can you guys give me some tips of winning this aes.
-I have 2days and 20 hours can someone tell me the exact time it will end.

sniping is the key to winning all eBay auctions you want :)
You still need some luck, experience and a good internet connection.
If you place your first bid in the last 5-10 seconds of the auction your chanced of winning are damn high.
Of course you need some experience in 'knowing' how much you have to bid to win the auction.

By using this method you'll also usually pay a little less. Imagine you didn't bid on that Neo twice. The highest bid would be 20$ lower right now.
I usually start bidding in the last minutes and if I'm outbid I'll place my final bid about 5-10 seconds before the auction lasts.
If there's an auction you really WANT to win, sniping may be a little bid too risky. You should place your high-bid simply very high (but not too high...you don't want to be removed from the auction).

Well that's my personal experience with eBay....so no guarantee that it works :)

And pages like auctionsniper are crap....if you're really into eBay you don't need it and of course you don't want to pay for it. eBay takes anough of your money. Don't let auctionsniper take another part ;)

"Buy It Now", defeats the point of an auction but if you want it bad enough. Not everyone offers it, but thats how I got my cab.

Sniping is the way to go if you want to win auctions without driving up the price for no reason. Also if there is a Buy It Now auction and the price is to high try bidding to reach the reserve price so no one else can use but it now. Those are my keys to winning ebay auctions.

Put in the highest amount you are willing to pay and walk away. If you win, you win. If you don't, bid on something else. Think about the current auction. You can try to snipe it at the end but if the guy ahead of you has a higher bid amount it won't matter, he'll still win. I actually depend on other people sniping to help me win. Here's how it works. I put in my max amount, let's say for a particular item it is $80. So my bid puts the auction at $30. All the snipers sitting around waiting are all trying to get a bargain so they will be sniping at the end, most likely between the $35-$50 range so I'll still win for less than my max.

You could make a low bid on the item and then turn right around and make a realy high and absurd bid for the item with another user name. No one will bid higher because they know it would be stuipd to pay say $300 for Art Of Fighting(MVS). Then retract the bid right before the auction is about to end that way to still have the second highest bid...I think that would work

That wouldn't work simply because your super high fake bid would be unknown to everyone else out there. If your low bid is $20 and your fake bid is $500 then the auction will read "Current bid: $21" or whatever. Then other people come along and bid and raise the price then you're stuck with an overpriced item (if you win) or some other guy will win if you retract.

There is a way to jack the seller and get items relatively cheap using fake accounts and whatnot but that's illegal so I'm not talking.

Just snipe like a motherfucker 'til the cows come home. You will need a fast connection, no dial-ups here. Keep hitting refresh as the auction comes to a close. When it reads "20 seconds remaining" or even as low as 10 seconds if you're really fast, scroll down and place the MAXIMUM you are willing to pay for the item, type your user name and password then hit enter. In about two seconds you will know if your snipe was successful or not and the auction will end one or two seconds later.

It's an art really, and I'm a fucking artist...

Most of the time if it's something I really really want, and there's no buy it now, I'll email the seller to see if they'll accept my deal. It works almost all the time, I've only had 1 or 2 people say they want to wait it out. That happens, and they usually don't get near what I offer. Dumbasses.

I've sniper'd a few auctions myself, and I'm damn good on a dialup. I keep 2 windows open. 1 window has my highest possible bid, with my name and password already in there and it just says "click to place bid". The other, I'm refreshing until it gets down to 20 seconds. About that time I do a quick count in my head, then just click "place bid" in the other window. Bam, it's that easy.

I offered to buy a guy out if he ended the auction early only once. It was a $75 item and the jackass scammed me. The one and only time I've ever been scammed...
