Somewhat OT, but production run does not necessarily influence a game's scarcity. It's all about how often people are in some traceable method buying & selling it, whether there are 1000 or 6000 copies of a Neo game floating around.
People could be selling the same 500 copies of a paticular game over & over & over again, so while it's got a low run, it's not necessarily scarce.
I think this is the main flaw of the price guides, that its maintainers list a game's rarity based on EITHER how often you see it for sale (ex. Jp Samurai Shodown II, FFSpecial, AoF2..) OR how many have been hypothesized -yet of course never confirmed- to exist (ex. US Garou: MOTW, Metal Slug..).
