I sold my AOF CD and bought a cart because I really love this series, but the version I got (dog tag) came with a German manual... I never knew that there have been German manual translations. Is this common, and are there more? Not that I'd have problems with the English versions, I'm just wondering.

I have got Puzzled,Blues Journey and Crossed Swords with additional French manuals, but i have never even HEARED about german ones-and i should know!
US 'Dog Tag' makes it even stranger!

Does the manual look like a simple copy?

Is the name MARO(German distributor back then) mentioned anywhere on it?

Logisch spreche ich Deutsch! Sogar ganz gut... ...jedenfalls behaupten das die meisten meiner Bekannten! <IMG SRC="smilies/wink.gif" border="0">

Well, sorry for late reply... Got an awful lot of work to do, that $@#!! IT biz keeps me working day and night... anyway, I won't sell that German manual, sorry. It's not because I'm a collector, but I kinda like it to own such a curiousity... Dog Tag AoF, with German manual... cool... <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

Btw., the manual is in very bad condition, worn, torn and stained... no minty-mint collector's item.

I will scan the manual and post a link as soon as possible.

Herzog Drei: No, it does not look like a simple photocopy, it's wrapped in a slightly thicker card box/paper, and it's clamped with industrial-quality clams. The text on the pages looks "printed", not copied.

Fran: Thanx for your offer anyway! <IMG SRC="smilies/wink.gif" border="0">

<IMG SRC="smilies/tongue.gif" border="0"> Aye, Scalpeur, don't lower my chances on the collectors market! <IMG SRC="smilies/wink.gif" border="0">

I wouldn't be surprised if the thing turns out to be genuine SNK stuff... at least it smells like SNK (spirit)... Ahh, the distintive aromes of big black carts... <IMG SRC="smilies/loco.gif" border="0">

After Takumajis description this manual is similar to the french ones-and these are printed by Guillemont(French distributor, methink),but all have their SNK and NEO logos and are as official as anybody can wish!
This item would be rarer than Kizuna-can't wait for getting a look at the scans! <IMG SRC="smilies/drool2.gif" border="0">
