I was wondering, where's a good place I can purchase a Neo-Geo MVS kit? Also, is there any way I can pre-order a King of Fighters 2001 MVS kit?

Let me point out that I am talking about getting MVS kits (that means it has everything; mini-marquee, stickers, dip sheet, flyers, box, etc.), and not MVS cartridges.

Video Connection has some: www.videoconnect.com

Also, I know of a place that has BRAND NEW Blazing Star kits for like $125 . . . PM me if you want the info, I don't post it to keep the NGF crew from buying them out. There are some other places to find complete MVS kits, and I can give you more info if you PM me.

The Selling Forum can be a good place as well.

As far as getting a KoF2K1 immediately...well..frankly... you're gonna pay about 1-200 dollars more than you would if you'd wait 6 months to a year.

You'll still be able to get them new, but when they're released initially they're usually bought up by arcade owners who wanna turn a profit.

I got my MotW, brand new last month. Payed 200 for it and it cost about 400 when it was first release (I believe, correct me if I'm wrong).

I have a essentially new US Mark of the Wolves MVS kit for $200, and a US Samurai Shodown II MVS kit for $50. Let me know if you might be interested.

Yeah, the money figures are a little off, but that is good advise.. wait and you will save a lot of money. KOF 99 and 2K were released at over a $1000.... now KOF99 can be picked up in new/perfect condition for about $100 and 2K is almost below $200... wait my friend and you will save... As for MOTW Blaine, good deal on that full kit for $200, that one is still a little pricey for a full kit (on a count of there are so many bootlegs and crap version of it)... and yeah it was about $500 when it came out.

Thanks for the info, everyone! It's sad, though, that King of Fighters 2001 is SNK's last game. Even though few quantites of KOF 2001 will show up here in the states (I think), I'll take everyone's advice and wait for it to come down in price.
