Please help me! I'm doing some research for uni, and as I'm too lazy to actually go out and ask people on the street, I wanna ask a couple of simple questions:

1) Do you skip cut-scenes?
2) Do you dislike games that force you to watch cut-scenes?

You can answer yes or no, no lengthy reply needed (but please feel free to talk some more about the subject). Any platform BTW...

Thanks :)

1) yes, after I have watches them once I usually skip them when I play the game again
2) of course...it sucks when you can't abort cut scenes like in FF6. Even IF it is important for the story, the user should still be able to skip them!

oh...this is a more 'unrelated' topic :)

1) I only skip them after watching them one or two times.
2)Yes, I HATE it when I can't skip a cut scene.

Hope that helps.

I always watch a cut-scene the first time it is played. Whether I watch it again depends how much I like it, so I can't give you a hard and fast answer there.

The option of skipping a scene should be there if the scene has already been played.

Watch it once, skip it again. Unless it's a really bad ass cut scene like the Code Veronica Opening.

Some games i play just to get to certain cut scenes as i love em like with kof 99 and most games i do like to watch them a few times but after that i just skip them but in my opinion i do think cut scenes make games a bit better :)

I only skip cut-scenes when I've seen them already. Exceptions are cut-scenes that I really like and I was in the mood to watch them again at the time.

And yes, it sucks when you can't skip a cut-scene.
