prehistoric isle 2

is this game worth the money,,,I have blazing star,pulstar,,sonic wings 3, is there any other shooters worth the money or are these the only ones that are decent,,,

Aerofighters 2 is awesome. Better than 3 I think.

blazing star
and strikers 1945 plus

the aero fighters series is kind of stale to me.

"Awesome" is not the word i was thinking about...

You have to admit, that on the first board, when the Dino breaks the wall, and you rotate the camera and do a fly in... man that is sweet as hell, I have never seen that done on the Neo before... The graphics, however, range from beautiful to down right fugly. The rendered dinos look cool, but the lack of color means the backgrounds look a little washed out... plus some dinos are too shiny and look like plastic toys.

The difficulty is way low, much lower then Blazing Star (one of the easiest shooters on Neo Geo). The sound is OK, the game is fun... but nothing incredible. All and all, it is good, but not worth going crazy for, and not really in the same league as the other Neo shooters like Blazing Star and Strikers IMO.

Oh and like was said above... get Strikers, that game is great... good graphics, tight gameplay... it is a little easy as well, but it is so much fun to play over and over.

can strikers be had for around the same money as prehistoric isle 2.....SO i should get strikers before prehistoric isle 2...

I don't know the going price for Strikers now, I am guessing you mean MVS, since the only release of either of these games on AES was by Arcade and in limited numbers. The Strikers kits were going for about $65-75 a year ago, and were very plentiful, but now they seem to have gone up a little and are a bit harder to find. I don't know what the asking price is, but I bet $100 is a safe bet. PI2 is a bit more, and is kind of hard to find. I bought one for $175 and I have seen them for as little as $150 from mdgamesales... All and all, if you are a shooter fan you will want both, and there are a lot worse then these titles, so grab them both
