What are the pros and cons of these two, I really dont know that much about mvs and would like to learn.

easy if you want the arcade look and feel { cabinet } plus the cheaper games then go with an mvs . if you want to play on a tv or dont have the room fora cabinet then aes is for you , you can run a phantom converter to play mvs games but they cost somewhere around 200.00 , so if you factor all the prices in you might want a cab instead ? It can actually be cheaper depending on what aes you get and from who .

mvs is to players
aes is to collectors

mvs is cheap,aes not
example:
metal slug mvs $50
metal slug aes $1500 or more

See thats the thing I dont have the room for an mvs, but I love consoles and I wouldnt have a problem affording the games.

I sit in a comfy chair with my mvs , I think thats why I never kept an american cab ? you cant sit and play one , now I can be lazy ! whooo hooo !

But what about when you want to take it over a friends house, and if it gets damaged I woudnt know who to give it to for repair.

Nah, I like having the two original forms. Nothing against the supergun's they're cool too, its just I don't prefer them.

If you don't live in California its going to be a bitch getting a Cabinet. The only real advantage of the AES is that it IS portable. That's it. You can easily get a bench and a candy cab if you want to sit down. But since you don't have the room for a cab I would go with a super gun.

cabs arent hard to get anywhere you just cant be cheap , pay the shipping . hell there is one on ebay right now in mariland I think ? and its only 150.00 to ship anywhere in the states. It dosent get any better than that !
even if its 300.00 to ship its worth every penney ! just for the wow factor if nothing else.
