Does anybody know for certain that Spoonman is selling the NGF version? How do you know that he didn't just make up his own insert and manual like NGF did? He states in the auction several times that this is an "English Conversion".
He even goes on to state that "Similar English Conversions are selling for $650". By similar he probably means NGF, leading one to believe that this is not the same. He never says that it is an official English version. He says that it is an official Japanese version with created English inserts and manuals. I have no problem with what he is doing as long as he's honest about it. Cut the guy some slack.

I think Carter (neo geo sweden) is just looking for a US KOF 2000, whether he wants to find an original insert (which is unlikely unless you buy the complete cart) or a quality repro of the insert is a decision that should be left to Carter.
I was merely pointing out a lead for him, however I did state that I've never dealt with this guy before....so he should proceed with caution.

Spoonman did not make a KofF2000 US insert; he just downloaded a high resolution scan made by "Kiselgof" and printed it out. Get the real NGF version because you will see it is real SNK. I own many NGF games and this KofF2000 US is just not made by NGF; there are big differences in quailty between a regualar NGF game and a KofF2000 US NGF/SNK game. Moreover, investigate with SNK JPN, you will be <IMG SRC="smilies/eek.gif" border="0"> at what you find out <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

Shit, looks I like should just go by "The Dude"...
The "real NGF" version still has differences from other "real SNK" productions. High quality = yes. SNK confirmed = yes. Printed at same facility as other SNK printings = no.

This is a MISLEADING set of words which dion himself is famous for. He saying SNK made these U.S. versions and we all know they didn't. 2ndly...

He saying that his versions of KoF 2K are not converted when it's known here that the game doesn't have an original insert and and sticker made by SNK but by NGF or any other people who try to peddle this off as legit stuff. It seems like this argument has been going on for at LEAST the past six months, but the fact remains that numerous people contacted SNK-Japan representatives and were told that they indeed allowed the rights to US KOF2K to NGFUSA. Even Shawn himself has confirmed this. The game is "real" in that it was authorized by SNK-Japan, just printed at a different facility.
