Well I have a buddy of mine who is selling his 6-slot MVS stand up red cab to me. He’s asking what I think is a good price. Now if you guys could take a look for me and tell ‘em what you think should be paying I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

It looks okay. I don't know what one is worth, but if it's like $4~500 I'd probably buy it.

I don't know what is a good price, but I paid $700 for my 4-Slot (shipping included).

Shipping can be a bitch, the more it weighs the more it costs. I had to pay $220 to have it shipped to my home as well as $50 for packing material. And the 4-Slot weighs about 300 lbs, don't know about a 6-Slot though.

And it came from Rhode Island, and I live in New England. I'm not sure where you live or where its coming from, but shipping will cost a lot.

Nice looking cab though.

How much?

Hmm, you're looking at about $500 for the cab itself. Slap on another $200 to have it shipped. About $700 shipped is a rough estimate.

How much is this guy asking for?

It's MINE! It is by far the KING of Neo-Geo's. That thing is like a monster! It's working all the way. Few scratches on the sides and the control panel could use some paint but it's super clean inside. Came from a Mac's in Canada. I brought it back into the states myself. It's been turned off for the last 4 years becasue the kids were being a pain in the ass on it all day! :)

if you're going to pay up to $700, I implore you to consider the Tao bros in Los Angeles. $350 gets you a candy, $250 ships it east coast, and you cna get a 2~4 slot for a bit over a hundred off these forums. They're clean, new and often have newer, better components. Old cabs have busted speakers, burned monitors, shitty controls, or other liabilities.

All right now we're getting in a good area. I do think I’m going to get it. John is a real nice guy and I trust him 100%. We just have to convince 'ol dad. <img src="graemlins/smirk.gif" border="0" alt="[Smirk]" />

i wouldnt ship it.

he lives in pa.
go pick it up.
it'll be worth it.

use the ~$200 you saved on shipping to get some games.

I asked Jeff Tao about shipping a candy 25 to me in nj, and he quoted me $150. So you can get a candy 25 for 480 shipped. no board or nothing though.

Looks a bit beat up, but. How about the condition? everything works well, right? I would buy it for $450, but no more.

Well I don’t think I’m going to go for it. It just seems that having 2 cabs might be a little much. I think once it gets to be summer time and I see how much free time I have I might consider getting a candy cab. I also think that getting a 6 slot might be a bit wasteful. All I really need is a simple one slot and I’m set. I’m going to hold onto the DD cab. Pick up a nice one slot and fix up the sound and maybe buy some new overlays etc. and I’ll be set. Thanks a lot guys.

you can get just about any mvs board you want from ebay for about 200.00 , as for the cabinet I personally like the japanese candy cabinets, I have a sc19 or its also called an sc junior 4 ! it only weighs 82 lbs so shipping is really cheap if you find one. I got mine off of ebay from arcadestuff for 235.00 . it cost me 86.00 to ship about 400 miles , I picked it up myself , door to door would have been 126.00 , I dont like the look of the wood mvs cabinets , just too blocky , plus I have some neat 1920's theatre seats that are very comfy so the sit down type cabinet works for me . you can check out some of my stuff at this link !
good luck !
