Is this a good game? How much do you think the home cart is worth in collector's condition? Any thoughts?

I bought mine in MINT condition for
$150. Most of the time it is sold for more
though as it is very uncommon.

Kabuki Klash is a great game even though it lacks depth. It's not as combo intensive as, say, KOF, but you will still enjoy it nonetheless. The graphics are well-drawn and the colors are lush; the boss sprites are enormous, too. I also like the music since its unique and upbeat.

I have seen KK sell for $200+ or better in prestine condition. Mint copies have sold for $150-$170+ dollars as Too_Short stated.

KK is cool. Not very serious and not exactly deep, but fun. The button layout is similar to the Samsho series (A or C = weak, B or D = medium, AB or CD = strong punch or kick). The available moves per chara are quite uniform, mostly quarter and half circles fwd/bwd, together with the down, down+button(s) DMs. Like SS2, power-up (and power-down) items appear randomly or after a chara has been dizzied.

It's colorful, easy-to-get-into, quite flashy and contains a number of zany bosses with an assortment of even more zany moves.

Well... if the current asking price for the h/c doesn't put you off, you should give it a try. The NGCD version is also very good, it has an additional Battle Mode that allows you to play with two of the bosses (via code).

It's an awesome game that I paid $150 for. Some of the best boss fights in that game, and with Lucifeller, on of the top 3 hardest Neo Geo bosses ever made.

Yes, I did get it. The game is pretty decent. It's fairly similar to Samurai Shodown as far as it looks. I would say its an above average fighter. I have gotten a lot of games in the past few months, so I haven't spent very much time with it. I would recommend getting it for under $200.

It's a great game, every aspect of it is well done and better than average, except for the depth of game play, but sometimes it's fun to have a simplistic fighter around to waste some time with.
