A few SNK Q's from a newbie

I started getting heavily into SNK sometime early Summer of 2002, so I'm still a newbie, and I was just wondering if a few queastions could be answered...

1) Since SNK was bought by Playmore, do any of their staff still work on KOF, if not then Im wondering how everyone could love/enjoy KOF 2001 and 2002. It's kinda like when a band kicks out it's vocalist, gets a new one and keeps their original name.

2) (I'm not sure if this info was revealed but...) Who is Rock's mom?

3) Does MOTW have a seperate storyline/ universe from KOF, since MOTW takes place 10 years after Geese's death (which someone on this board mentioned as 2004) which would mean Geese died in 94, but then Geese would've neevr joined KOF 96 no been a striker in 2000.
