You'll need it to save your progress, which comes in very handy in the later levels of ML.

It would be a very good thing to have for this game. This game is great fun but can be really really hard. I have not yet beat it but I plan on playing it again soon.

yeah defintely !! i never could beat the cart version but i finished magician lord on neo cd whew !! :)

Yeah, this is another game I get a lot more enjoyment out of on CD as opposed to cart. Whereas the cart starts Elta off at "checkpoints", the CD version starts him (or her, or whatever the hell an Elta is) at the exact spot of death. I don't feel bad about this little cheese bonus since I beat the cart first, and besides, it's great to be able to see all the goodies Magician Lord has to offer without the headaches.

Hearing how hard it is from everyone has inspired me. I should have it early next week and it's going down.

Personally I don't think it's quite that hard but it's definitely a game that I've grown to really like.

BTW, you might want to change your avatar, as that is Mouse_Master's. I know that it's the coolest avatar here :cool: , but you should probably let him keep it. :)

People can have the same icons, but generally custom avatars are only for the person that originally uploaded them. I know that used to be a custom avatar but now I guess it's free to use.

No big deal. :)
