There were two known copies until Wolfgang from Austria came forward with a 3rd copy. We updated to 3 on the day Wolfgang confirmed with quotes from the manual and scanned manual pages.xtoo_short20x:
Kizuna Encounter US/Euro, 3known copies?
I would say 4 known copies now, with the one
that surfaced a couple of weeks ago.
I dont see how that can fetch that said price. I dont ever recall seeing one sell for that much. Thats a stab in the dark at best.Atrophyed:
Why the 4000+ Dollars mention to Ultimate Eleven ?
That one is quite questionable.
Sudently it goes up to 4000+ bucks ??? Some trick is in the air I guess...
Damn Neo Geo inflating prices!![]()
Allow me to join the MD2 parade. It's much more difficult to find, esp. totally non-faded as per the colour of the spine, and seems to fetch nearly as much as its sequel when it does sell. I have loosely been looking to re-acquire a copy for myself during the past few months and the results only echo what DolphinLord + EvilWasabi stated.EvilWasabi:
I may shoot myself in the foot for this (when I want to buy it), but I agree with Dolphinlord that MD2 is worth more than the listing price.
Same with ShinOuKen, Overtop, and Stakes Winner 2.
I mean, if you throw out an offer at the peak price guide value and no one sells you a copy, then the guide may well be wrong.
And at the prices listed, you will not get a mint copy of any of those games.
Add Syougi no Tatsujin as well. Hard as balls to get mint. Most of the time you'll get a Master of Sunfade instead.
for me anyways. Now about the ko2001 game, it should go down as well because people been selling it for around $195. The price guide should then be around there to the new price of $235.FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!Atrophyed:
This <a href="http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=3525&item=3008888228" target="_blank">Samurai Shodown III</a> is not only MINT, but it's also NEW and it ended at 102 €uros.
You`re a funny guy - too bad I have to pulverize all of your argumentsAtrophyed:
FTL, it's quite strange why you're always ( only ) updating high value carts.
Why don't you take care of carts like Viewpoint, KOF99, Andro Dunos, ADK, Ninja Commando... ?
Just for you to see :
Price guide for Samurai Shodown III
is quoted as 110 ~ 170 from mint to near mint.
This <a href="http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=3525&item=3008888228" target="_blank">Samurai Shodown III</a> is not only MINT, but it's also NEW and it ended at 102 €uros.
No updates towards this game were done and this is a significant one to update since the final sale reflected from a NEW "unused" Game.
And I mean NEW like directly from the factory.
The auction is french, but I know that seller personally and he's thrustworthy.
Now tell us. Why do you only care about Top money carts ? spock

Yeah especially the KOF series isn't selling nearly for what the price guide says. Please be thorough.Atrophyed:

3. That auction you quoted perfectly fits in the price guide because 102 Euro = 110 US$ which is exactly the lower limit. And: The condition of this guys` games have to be taken with with caution. I personnally bought from him and the condition was FAR worse than described (he took the game back then at my request).
See? Stop downtalking prices when they are not moving. shame Nice try though![]()

Atrophyed may I use this sentence as my new sig? lol shamePulverizing ? spock Get a life. oh_no
Of course, the better looking Japanese version can be had for $60~70.I have stated Viewpoint just as an example Charlie.EvilWasabi:
That SSIII looks used/faded just from the cart box.
Regardless, 1 auction/deal does not change the guide for 98% of the available home carts. Kizuna and U11 are special cases though.
So what should Viewpoint be listed at? The range in price is so broad for that game. I mean, I know people that paid under $200 for a japanese version, and people that paid well over $300 for it. It really depends on condition, and trust. If Neo Bomberman or 16-Bits says mint Viewpoint for $300 and then someone else that I never bought from says $200 for a mint Viewpoint, who do you think I'll trust? A lot of sellers are like that - they pay more for the assurance of an item sold as described.
Well, anyhow, I am sure that whoever won that SSIII will be happy knowing that they scored a victory below the price guide valueOf course, the better looking Japanese version can be had for $60~70.
