I'm curious what an english Last Blade MVS kit with matching serials would be valued at in the market right now. I'm interested in buying one but have no idea what to offer. The only ones I can find as reference are at least over a year ago. I haven't seen any of these any time in recent past. Any ideas?

Also, does anyone know what happened to Trieu's topic regarding swapping labels on MVS boxes out? What forum was it in? I did a search but turned up nothing. I ask because the kit in question has a damaged box and I'd like to change it out if possible in the future should I buy it.

Any info would be helpful. Thanks. :)

A mint/new one should go for around 110 – 120 USD at least, according to my personal knowledge. The one showed in the photo is obviously not mint (the case damage is a pity, however it could be repaired).

As you said a LB2 can be sold for much much more, like 525 USD at least.

Do you want to sell it?

Anywhere from $85-100, depending on the condition.

But that's just an estimate, I'm sure Vinh could give you a far more accurate figure.

LB kits still pop on ebay every now and then and in the selling forums, so it's price shouldn't have increased much, if it at all.

edit: The sticker switching trick can be found <a href="http://www.neo-geo.com/cgi-local/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=5;t=002416#000000" target="_blank">here</a>

I got a new Last Blade MVS kit with matching serials about a year and a half ago, I believe I paid $50.00 for it. This was from a company with a lot of them to sell as well and that was their set price, rather than a fluke eBay sale.

I'm looking to buy the kit in the photo. Even if I did own it, I probably wouldn't sell it. wink

That's the figure I had in mind, ~$90. Where you at Vinh? And thanks for the link. Just what I was looking for.

Bastard! I wish I could've got down on some of that. :D I love the first Last Blade so much, more so then LB2. I have a loose cart at the moment but I'd really like to own a complete kit.

Thanks for the info guys. Very helpful. buttrock

I think I got one of those too. Wasn't that from the SNK dumpster diving activities?

Actually I sold that kit to a member of the forums a few months back. I recognize the box. I don't wanna advertise what I sold it for since I don't want to interfere with another members sale.

Prices stated in this thread are pretty much in the ballpark though.

He would know, he's the seller. :p

I'm still mulling it over by the way samuraiX. Hope you aren't in any big rush. No hard feelings if you find a buyer.

Back in the day, there were very few MVS kit collectors and sellers of them didn't really care much for the box/artwork. Today, there is no doubt a higher demand for MVS kits than ever, so prices have gone up for certain titles, but at the same time, gone down for others as the supply for high demand games, such as SDB has surfaced.

Back in the day, Super Dodge Ball loose carts were selling for up to $500.00 a piece, but today, you can't even get near that for a complete kit (unless the buyer is unaware).

I always base the value of a kit on it's completeness (+ condition) and if it's incomplete, how hard and how much would it cost me to find that missing piece.

Finding missing move stickers for Last Blade isn't impossible, but somewhat a difficult task. Value for a complete kit today is between $105-120 depending on if there's a large marquee, for the kit above, $70-85.

Man, the move stickers completely slipped my mind. Thanks for the info Vinh.

I think I might just avoid the hassle of finding a box to swap out along with stickers to complete it. I'll hold out for another kit to show up.

I'll send you an e-mail samuraiX.

They slipped my mind too..... when I took the pic. They are nestled safe and snug in the box.

I'll check again when I get home, but I am fairly certain they are there. Duh me.

BTW, the box can be swapped out pretty easily and the kit would be brand new.
