Hey all,

I just caught a sale on the Neo Selling forums for great prices on the above mentioned games. As for when I aquire a Neo today (in less than 7 hours! Whoo!), I'd like to expand my library beyond the 2 Samurai Shodown games to include a FF game.

So for the same price of admission, what's the better show? Fatal Fury 2, or Special?

My thanks in advance.

d00d fatal fury special without a doubt. tho you do get the endings in FF2, in FFSpc its just generic "win then stand in a podium" kinda ending... still FFSpc kicks butt. wink

They are both incredible games, you can't go wrong with either.

But I like to buy my games in sequential order, so go with FF2.

Think of Fatal Fury:Special as Fatal Fury 2:Champion Edition.I'd recommend both.

Good point. I guess it depends on whether or not you plan on buying both.

If you get FF2 now, you'll be more impressed later on when you get Special.

If you buy Special first, you might be disappointed whenever you get around to buying FF2.

Such sage-like advice all around...

If I can "convince" the pocketbook to open up some more, then I'd probably be in favor of number 2. The argument of sequential play hits home. So the Regular/Championship split is in effect, but I'm a sucker for being 'wowed;' so here's to the preservation of just that sucker-ness.

Thanks again!
