I got to experimenting and came up with a NITD mini-marquee I liked so I thought I'd share and see if others dig it.

To have it print the BMP file the correct size of a mini-marquee, simply print from the browser that opens. If that fails, I reccomend opening and printing the BMP file in Microsoft Paint. DONT use the below sample jpeg.

nitdsample.jpg

The BMP file can be downloaded at http://www.mindspring.com/~leeja/nitdmini.bmp

I used all original NITD materials. The quality isnt as high as I'd like, but I did the best I could with what I had to work with.

Printing on a standard inkjet printer should suffice, and the marquee looks quite good behind the glass of most any marquee holder.

Enjoy. Feedback would be cool <IMG SRC="smilies/glee.gif" border="0">

Thanks Orpheus, glad you dig it.

UPDATE: the marquee seems to print the right size when printed from the browser that pops up on the BMP file! Anyone who has trouble printing it from there might have better luck opening it in Microsoft Paint <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

Yeah, very slick Garg.

If and when I get my cab and a copy of NITD I'll be sure and use it.

Looks good! My only suggestion would be to get the button functions in there. Not that we Neo heads need the directions or anything, but for the sake of Mini Marquee consistency, you might consider it.

Where is Nick the Fury? I think he said that he had experience creating marquees on actual material they are printed on. Does anyone know how they are actually printed? What type of printing is used to make a REAL mini Marquee? Excellent work Gargoyle.......I think it looks simple and to the point...the only other one now is what........Sengoku 3 right?

That looks great Garg! I would like to find this cart after the price drops a bit. It looks fun! And now I have a design for the mini. I would also love to hear how to get these printed on the plastic sheets as well.
