Need opinion on best second game to buy out of these!

Hey everyone,

I'm going to buy a cheap second game to play for when I get my Neo next week. I'm going to get Metal Slug 3 when I have the money but that won't be for a little while.

I'm trying to decide between the following:

Magician Lord
Nam 1975
Cyber Lip
Ninja Combat

These are games that I played years ago and would love to get them (I'll get all 4 eventually). What would be the best out of those do you think?

I like Magician Lord and Cyber-Lip the best.

Pick up NAM 1975; as far as I'm concerned, it's easily the best of the lot you listed. Cyber-Lip is novel, but ultimately unchallenging, and Magician Lord is highly overrated. And Ninja Combat, well, let's just say this: it didn't win any critical acclaim back when it was released, and it sure hasn't aged well...

Get ML. It beats NAM 75 by a hair and is much better than those other games.

Well, Nam 75 and Magician Lord are both good, but I would easily prefer Nam 75 first. That and Magician Lord was the first game I got and I didn't have a memory card (Do you?) And sadly this is one of the few Neo games I've actually needed my memory card for.

Yeah, I'd probably say NAM 1975, but Magician Lord is one of my favourite Neo-Geo games as well. They're both very challenging and thus, can be quite long. It really depends if you like shooters or platformers better. Shooters, get NAM, platformers, get Magician Lord. Only get Ninja Combat if you really want to get a complete collection some day. It's a pretty lame title. :D

I haven't played Nam, but between the rest of them, it's either between Magician Lord or CyberLip...

I would say Magician Lord...but be warned , it's mad hard... wink

Nam 1975 would probably be the best choice. But it really depends on what kind of game you like.
