Man I've spent the better part of the day since I called in sick to work laying back in my chair in front of the ol' MVS cab playing Sam Sho IV.
I was lucky enough to get this packed in with my cab when I bought it (along with Sam Sho 2).

As a child Samurai Shodown was my favorite game I always dreamed of owning a neo geoto play it.

Now my dream is a reality!

But Saurai Shodown 4 is just such a bad Ass game. I'd say it is my Favorite. The enings that I have watched to day along with that great ending music leave but one quote in my mind... "To Be Continued..."

I realy wish that Playmore would finally finish what is in it's own rite one of SNK's greatest sagas

I honestly don't know if I want Playmore touching some of the classic series.

While they didn't program Metal Slug 4, it got a lot of negative reviews, more so than positive. Even the King of Fighters 2001 & 2002 weren't too bad, they still could have been better.

Honestly, the games they've put out thus far have been somewhat subpar in comparison to what SNK was putting out in the final years. Subpar is putting it mildly when you think about what came out. Last Blade 2, MOTW, KOF 98, 99, Metal Slug X, Metal Slug 3...etc.

Yes I understand Playmore is relatively new, but I don't want to see a Samurai Shodown 5, Last Blade 3, or MOTW 2 unless they can do an *even* better job than what SNK did on those games. I don't want to play something that is virtually the same, I want to play something that has built upon what SNK created and takes it to the next level, ultimately improving on what was thought to be a near flawless game.

Just my thoughts, I'd rather dream about what SS5 and the others could be rather than see them come to life and find them bastardized.

This game will exist as much as Last Blade 3 will. smirk
Not neccesarily.

Remember, there were rumors of sequels to The Last Blade, Samurai Shodown, and Mark of the Wolves right at the end when SNK went down. While they are rumors, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if the SNK development teams had at least begun work on one of those titles.

Keep in mind, no one knows for sure what Playmore got in the way of unfinished projects when they bought out all of the rights to SNK.

On a serious note, I would LOVE to see SSV and Last Blade 3. With all these new fighters coming out, I am wondering where are all the sword fighting games.
