Forgive me if this has already been brought up and if it seems really stupid, but I was going through the list of NGF "freaked" shit that they seized on the n-g main page, when I realized they seized a bunch of MVS carts because of reprinted labels.

So is reprinting labels against the law? The only reason I ask is because I have received a couple of "relabelled" MVS carts from MD Gamesales. Of course, the reason the ones from MD were relablled was because if the condition of the cart was any indicator, the label was likely FUCKED (and you can REALLY tell they were relabelled...). The reason the NGF "stock's" labels were redone was to make people think NGF had a hand in the creation of the products (which we all know is Bullshit). MD seems like such a small operation and the relabelling is done for a good reason, but I'd hate to see Playmore try to fuck with Mike because of this.

Any information is appreciated.

i d think the reasoning behind playmores
yanking of ngfUSAs stock is because they reprinted
the labels with the ngfUSAs little trademark.
or whatever. anyways. trying to put their name
on SNK made items and reselling.
thats my take anyways

Yeah, I agree... they put the whole "corrected" spin on the MVS carts as well... And I think that although it is not a crime to do that, it probably is a crime to do that and sell it as a SPECIAL EDITION RARE COLLECTOR ITEM CART... you get my drift... just more stuff to prove to the people in the jury that NGF is all about faking (freaking) products for financial gain.

I don't know if you own KOF 2000 JAP but if you look on the back of the insert you'll see the SNK JAPAN logo looks very similar to NGF's.The only difference is the letters.
This is could be very misleading to the consumer. It gives off the impression that NGF is a subsidiary of SNK or a reformation of SNK under the NGF name.
They led their customer base to believe NGF was what PLAYMORE is...
