Just a quick note.....

I am sure we all love this site. Just look at how many users there are, how many topics are covered, how many good ideas you hear about, and how many losers you are warned about. We owe alot to this site. We owe alot to those who finance it!

I have purchased several games from the NeoStore, and have had very good experiences not only with the speed with which the items arrive, but their superior condition, and decent prices. My most recent purchase was today. Some prices might be higher than what you find on Ebay, but then again, you never know who you are dealing with when you use Ebay, or what the end product will look like.

If you use this site regularly, I think it is your duty to buy something from the NeoStore to show your support for those who finance this great website, as well as their efforts to keep the Neo Geo alive. Lets face it, what other site is doing this much to keep the Neo Geo fans of the world engaged in this great system. We owe much to this site.

Buy something today! I don't care if it is a Neo Geo Fan Club pin for $ 1.00, buy something. Show your support. None of this comes to us free.

With today's economy, we need to do what we can, even if it is small.

If you are a serious Neo Geo fan, you will do your duty and support the NeoStore. Consider it your membership dues.

Buy something today!!! multi_co

Nobody's forced to pay. I'll buy a lot at the Neostore as long as I keep satisfied.

Yes, there are some "ridiculous" prices, but nobody is forced to pay them.

Prices are very high, and 2nd hand games stock is pretty uninteresting

But the big attraction are the accesories and the new games shawn secures. We do owe the guy a lot. No one is perfect but SHawn runs a great ship, he never inteferes and does not run the place with ego. This is the worldwide home of neo outside japan.

And to my knowledge, prices weren't ridiculous till this site came about. glee

I will buy from the Neo Store if the price is right. For example, I think you are being stupid if you rather pay $165 for a Flying Power Disk with no manual, and a excellent condition cart and insert just for the sake of supporting the Neo Store if you can get one NM/M and complete from Jonathan for around $120.00...

It's called being smart with your money. Yes supporting the Neo Store is great and like I said I will buy things from the Neo Store if the price is right but most of the time it isn't.

Also I do not see myself paying $500+ for a modded AES just for the sake of supporting the Neo Store anytime soon.

never bought from the neo store (fuckin' french customs). I agree prices are high, but there's no surprise: you get what ordered and like it was described.

That's the only think I disagree with, prices were already leaping up well before this site came around.

But with that said, I admit I only buy new releases from the NeoStore.

I'd hate to imply that "a good citizen" buys from the Neo Store. I would say that it makes total sense that: if you're going to buy a new-release Neo Geo AES cart, well -this is the source.

Other than that, I think just using the site as your source for info (even if you don't post/argue/concur/what-have-you) is more than enough to support our collective work :D

That statement is contradicting, why would I spend more money than I have to in a recession? People are trying SAVE money.
It is great that there is a store here, but it's not like it is a livelihood.

Bobak's right. If you look at how much KoF2000 was upon release...it was 325$ too. SNK started the higher prices, not Shawn.

I still wish releases were back to around 285$.

Those were the good old days.

Actually, businesses have felt the brunt of the economic slowdown in the US, and of course, unless things turn around, we commoners will feel it sooner than we prefer.

My only point here, is that we should not expect a fine site like this to go on, without our support. Sometimes, financial when we can manage it.
