Neo Geo Fighters

I am a big fanatic of fighters and a massive lover of Neo Geo Fighting games. This is what I have so far:

Anything else you guys would recommend? I also wish to eventually get Fatal Fury Special, Fatal Fury 3, Real Bout Special, 3 Count Bout, Agressor of Dark Kombat, Savage Reign and Samurai Shodown 1-2. Thanks!

Good selection, but they appear to me to be bootlegs...(except for AOF 3) eek! Hi and a belated welcome!

i wouldn't say there boot's the casing colors seem right. possibly just custom english label stickers.

I did the labels from a templete I downloaded. Most of my games had japanese labels and I had no clue what was what until now.

Anything else worth getting? I have KOF 99-2001 for Dreamcast so I will pass on those and will also get KOF 2002 for it when it ships.

How about a little old school? Fatal Fury Special and Samurai Shodown II are both fine examples. There's also Real Bout and Real Bout Special. Classic Samurai Shodown and Fatal Fury 2 are also good choices. If you're more in favor of newer games, go with Waku Waku 7 and/or Kizuna Encounter.

the Samurai Shodown deries and Real bout Series all rock.

KoF is much better on Neo than DC

You need some of the more obscure titles like Kizuna Encounter, Ninja Master's (which is one of my favorites), Waku Waku 7, Breakers, Breaker's Revenge, etc

I highly recommend Kizuna Encounter, great fighter. You may also want to check out the earlier World Heroes games. Not the best the Neo Has to offer, but I like 'em.

I totally agree with LastBlade, Ninja Masters has been underestimated during so long time... A real dark fighting game, with charismatics characters.

And Waku Waku 7 is really fun, with a good fighting system too.

I plan on getting FF Special & Samurai 1-2 this month. Not interested in the first Real Bout as I have Real Bout 2 and will be getting RBSpecial. Fatal Fury 2 is the same as FF Special, if I have FF Special do I need FF2? It's the same game, but special has all the upgrades.

Waku 7 I have on the Saturn and am happy with that.

Kizuna Encounter, I didn't even know it existed until now. Hoy $hit when I looked at a review and saw some pics I though wait a minute here some of these guys look familiar. WHAT... Savage Reign had a sequel to it? Damn I need this!

I always overlooked Ninja Masters as I thought it was a action game. Will definitly add this one to my want list aswell!

Same applies for Breakers until today I thought they were puzzle games (don't ask me why). That looks great too and got Great reviews. Damn thanks guys for educating this neo wannabe fanatic...

As for World Heroes goes I played the earlier version as I had the Home system a while back and WH Perfect is a the same as WH2 & WH2Jet. Just that WH Perfect is much better in my opinion. I might get the first installment if I find it one ebay but that will come later on.

I heard that the KOF series 99-2001 wasn't that good as it wasn't made by SNK, so I sayed away and just got the Dreamcast versions which are great for me as I have a Mas Stick which plays excellent with them.

Well just added Kizuna Encounter instead of Savage Reign to my list as well as Ninja Masters. As far as Breakers goes which on is better Breakers or Breakers Revenge?

So the list of games to get is:

Breakers Revenge??
3 Count Bout (Is this any good, I have mixed feelings)
Fatal Fury Special
Fatal Fury 3
Real Bout Special??

and last but not least Samurai Shodown 1-2

Breakers and Breakers' Revenge are pretty much the same. They added one or 2 more characters in Revenge and changed the look of the character screen (Vs, etc), whoopie, but even the backgrounds is just a different shade of color!

So get Revenge, and you don't even need to bother with the original unless you just want to collect them all.

Breakers Revenge it is then...

Ah, ok. Nice job; I was thinking "Well, at least they're quality boots! Hey, if you're still interested in a 3 Count Bout, let me know. I've got an MVS of it.
