too anyone who owns the rbff2 cd

im thinkin of buyin the game but first want to know a few things....

1. does it load between opponents or rounds?
2. does it have a training mode
3. can you choose which stage to fight on in the vs mode
4. in versus mode if you continually fight on the same stage does it speed up loading

it loads when you just start the game and in between fights. ( not round for found but per character.)

it dousnt have training.

i dont remember if you could choose the stage but you can deffenitelly choose if you want 2 fight in a sway line stage or a 21 line stage.

i dont know if fighting in the same stage speeds up the loading. maybe just a liitle. but it always loads long. thats wats fucked up about the cd.

by the way i like RBFFS better than RBFF2. maybe you should try that one out.

same here, i'd say it is better, the soundtrack is in my top 5 evar!

Get the RB2,I was very impressed with the load times when I used to own it.It did'nt hinder gameplay @ all.
RBFFS is one of the worst program loading titles on the NGCD.I think the game is GAAABAGE too.

yeah after careful consideration i think im gonna go aes and start with some cheap games first..

btw ive played both rbff2 and special a million times, i used to own special on cd... but i prefer 2, though i do miss sokakus awesome combo from special: (st)kick - (st) kick - (std) f+heavy - spinning fireball sway move (hcb + d??) to dp with kick for a juggle

The character data (anims, sounds, moves, etc.) is what takes a long time to load. You can notice this in other NGCD fighters, such as the newer KoFs. If you fight with the FF team and your opponent has one of the FF lads in his ranks as well, load times are very short if both of you happen to fight with the same character. Most of the backgrounds are statical images that load quickly.

So, if you do mirror matches in the same stage over and over again, load times are at a minimum.
