US Metal Slug Auction

Check this, it is suspicious, the maximum bidder just signed up in Ebay the day after the auction started. It looks like a shill bidding account.

This thing has been listed I don't know how many times. I think too short is about right. Dunno why he can't sell the damned thing.

Is this the same nut from nice who had those garou auctions up in 2k1? I remember he was asking like 600 and everyone was pissed at that nut.

You would think a place called Nice, would in the least have nice prices.

They had that game with the buy it now option
weeks ago set at 1900$,and couldnt sell it
for weeks, I think I saw the same game for 3-4 weeks shame

hey pep - yeah man i hate shill bidders too. back in january i was about to win an auction from bivari(asswipe) for boxed neo geo cd frontloader system, just so happen it only had 6 minutes left, no reserve, and the bid only went up to 23USD, shipping was 60USD or so, had a max bid of 60USD. then in walks an asshole newb with no feedbacks, 30 seconds left, bidding up all kinds of shit until it outbid my max. i thought WTF?!? who the hell is this mutherfucker came out of nowhere put a monkey wrench my almost good neo cd deal? i lost, not even a day later i saw another fuckin frontloader auction from bivari, same pics and desc, this time around mind you has starting price of 100USD. i figured this asswipe was a shill bid account for bivari coz the asshole realize it would be much better for him to relist then fetch higher bids than sell at my current bid price of 23USD... FUCK YOU BIVARI!!! since then i stayed away from bivari auction like the mutherfuckin shady plague that he is, ASSHOLE!!!

not to mention that the shinsamurai guy bidding on a bunch of rare carts is a fraud. He used BIN on one of my auctions and never sent payment or replied to any of my e-mails. On top of that he left me negative feedback 8 hours after the auction ended.

Risks of buying from "Bivari"
1)Items not as describe- B condition = tear/crack in case. WTF??

2)Takes a fucking long time to ship out the items- min 1 week to 2 weeks. blow_top

3)Forgot to ship out 1 or 2 items if you buy/ win multiple auctions.
Reasons- "Forgotten", ask you to buy some more of his items to ship together. very_ang

4)Items well packed but full of cigarette smell, *coughs*. Packed all his items in a air-conditioned room non-ventilated.

This copy of Metal Slug has definitely been on eBay for at least 4 months or so, maybe even longer.. I can't remember how long it's been up exactly but it's been on for quite some time. (not just a handful of times) It either A) will not meet it's reserve or B) wont get the min. bid or get it's BIN used..

Funny story:
On <a href="http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3006517761&category=187" target="_blank">Feb 6th - 13th</a> (the first time the game was listed with a reasonable starting price and with no reserve) it ended at $1702. Unfortunately, the bidder 'didn't pay'. (even though it appears he has bought from world.games before, possible shill id?) Less than 30 days later world.games was back to auctioning it with $2200 minimum bid and a $2300 buy it now which has slowly been stepped down by $100-200 every time the game fails to sell.. Which leads you up to this most recent auction and it would be a reasonable conclusion that shill bidding is now involved.. Last time he put it up with no reserve and a low start (yah $1000 is real low I know..) it only ended at $1702 after all.. and that's assuming the high bidder was a legit person and not a shill id.......

I'll remain happy knowing this guy has probably paid so much in listing fees it's not even funny.. Well worth the entertainment value.

You should take a look at what this guy has asked for some of his other items up for sale..

Has anyone else ever noticed that items coming out of France always seem to be expensive as all hell? I'm not sure if it has to do with the economy or what, but it's something I have noticed and not just from this seller.

Games here are always more expensive since if customs decides to take out your little package containing a Neo game, you will pay another 50 bucks on top of what youm paid originally. Somtimes you get lucky and customs doesn't check your package, but usually they do. Also, the majority of games have always been sold in the US or japan. Few Neo fans in europe drives the prices right up here....

Not only that, but has anyone ever noticed that AES games coming from France are in the worst condition possible? I have meanwhile bought from 3 different sources in France and games came in really really horrible condition, including ones from "famous" sellers as well. The French seem to have a different grading scale than the rest of the world.
