Free Play or Credit?

I was wondering what's best for the Neo cabs to leave it on free play or to have it pay to play.

Does the MVS like some arcades stay on one static screen when on free play which would cause a lot of burn in or does it still cycle through the games. Thanks.

I always have my 6-slot MVS cab on Freeplay. The game should cycle through the demo screen automatically anyway, if it doesn't just change the on screen settings to game time comulsion=free. In this mode, you can still insert coins for that added arcade feel...whilst never actually running out of credits! loco

Yup. still cycles through the title demos for all the games, although I have noticed that King of the Monsters just sits there on the title screen. Anyone else get that?

I think I remember mine doing that too if I left it in a certain slot.
I have to check again..I could of swore that after it sat in title screen for awhile it will eventually go to the next demo..
I'll check in the Am..

I leave my Cab on Freeplay...

Credits man!

Play with the god damn credits!

What would be a challenging game without credits ?

Hint : a non-challenging game!! :mad:

I don't see myself playing Metal Slug X on a "free Play" mode, if I run out of ammo in free play mode I run out of lives just to continue and grab an Heavy Machine Gun ammo supply!!

Playing a lot of games in Free play gives me the feel of "cheating". It's like you're not in the game. wink

in response to RyoGeo's post above about king of monsters DEMO staying on the title screen: Yes I have two King of monsters carts and both stay on the title screen. the game will not cycle to the next demo or for that matter even play its own demo. Strange, really strange. . . only MVS game that does that for me. Anyone else seen this?

One of my cabs is set to freeplay, I hook the other one up with credits.

Both my cabinets are set to freeplay. They cycle through the demos still.
