What excactly is the crystal sytem ?

I have been hearing this system mentioned alot recently but do not know the full meaning of what it is about.

I hear it can play neo geo games.. is that correct.. and if so can it play AES games or MVS games.. and if say i was to put a metal slug 3 in it now then it would play it ?

Also if this is the case each new game that comes out for it would also be backwards compatible with the old neo geo ? and games being made for it would be games like kof2002 and so on

is it a upgrade to the neo geo?

Does it use neo geo controllers?

What is the king of crystals about i think the game is called that ?

Is it more powerful than cps 3 ?

The Crystal System has nothing to do with the Neo hardware-wise. You can't play Neo games on it, there are no Neo games currently planned for it, doesn't really have anything to do with SNK really. The only reason it has been spoken about with the same breath as the Neo and SNK is because many of the people responsible for SNK kind of migrated over to Brezzasoft (the makers of the Crystal System). So they have the talent, but do they have the means? Who knows...

That would be cool if it was backwards compatible with Neo games .

So far I haven't seen any games I like for it though , :(
